This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are dedicated and hard working individuals. This year our school was awarded as an A+ school, without our students and their commitment, this amazing recognition would have never been possible.

Every day my students are well prepared and ready to conquer any task assigned.

Although they may make it look easy, it is not. All of my students have their own story to tell. Most students are on free or reduced-price lunch and face many hardships. This does not defeat them, they look forward to the future that awaits and strive every day to build a positive path to get there.

My Project

Providing my students with The Diary of Anne Frank is essential to their learning experience in middle school. This story gives students a chance to read such an influential story that shaped how we explain the Holocaust.

If given the opportunity to read The Diary of Anne Frank, my students will be able to learn a major part of history, through the story of a girl that is close to their age.

Luckily my students have the opportunity to see a theater production of The Diary of Anne Frank, but with a hard copy of the book they will endure a full experience.
