My Project

I work with a group of students that face various challenges that include social-emotional and behavior deficits. Although my students face various challenges, they developed a growth mindset throughout the year. I would like to provide a more organized cool down cart. At this current time our de-escalation items are in a plastic container. The cart would provide more space for multiple items. The items in my project include fidget toys, scented Play-Doh, an expression pineapple, trays, sensory based items and more. These items would provide my students de-escalation time. We work to teach our students various ways to cope, de-escalate and learn the proper social skills for every day life!
