"If you can dream it, you can do it." - Walt Disney.
My classroom is the room where dreams come true and I will not let the lack of supplies or resources stand in the way of my students' dreams.
Ninety-eight percent of the students who grace my classroom door live in government assisted housing and receive free lunch. My students get used to hearing they are destined to become another statistic. When they enter my classroom, they are welcomed to a world of creativity and innovation. They walk into a land where dreams come true. My students need supplies to be successful. My school's mission is to educate and prepare each of our diverse scholars to excel in a changing global society. It is recognized that the success of the students attending my school is directly correlated to effectiveness of instruction and the quality of the learning environment. By incorporating a variety of hands-on learning and manipulatives, my students will see they can be anything they dream of being.
Our world is full of new and exciting things. It is my mission to prepare my students for their best future possible. Learning how to code, problem solve, and work in a team, are much-needed skills for a bright future. Let's face it- coding is the future of our society. From electronics to bit-coins, fingerprint and facial recognition devices, to cars that drive themselves, coding is the future and my students will be the ones to make these initiatives even better.
The Botley Coding Robots will be a resource that will engage my students' curiosity, while giving them the ability to create, engineer, and code using their own imaginations.
My students need four Botley Coding Robots and Action Challenge Accessory Packs to learn about coding, problem-solving, and teamwork. My students are curious learners who like new challenges. I know they would love the opportunity to work with Botley. Working with Botley will be great for collaboration, language development, and problem-solving. Students will be able to learn new skills necessary for our ever-changing world.
