Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students at T.J.H.S are amazing. Throughout all their adversities they are still able to remain positive Each student is loving, and goal- driven and determined to be successful. This year has by far been the toughest year of the 4 years I have been teaching at T.J.H.S. due to the unfortunate circumstance of the tornado. Through it all they are still able to exemplify strength through there tough times. I admire them and strive to lead by example.

I am a special education teacher with high hopes of creating a calm working environment for my students to learn.
My students have learning disabilities ranging from high to low that make learning difficult. I plan to create a space for students to come and relax while learning content. Each of the materials on my list will help make my room calm. I want to create a learning atmosphere. By donating to our class project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and determination you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement for success of the STAAR TEST.
