My students are so amazing in so many ways. Many of the students I work with need a little extra boost in different aspects of reading, and I am here to pinpoint what it is and to work on it. I have 38 students that I work with directly on a daily basis. My favorite thing about my job is the small groups I get to work with. Each student has a different skill they need to work on.
These students have worked so hard and have come so far already this year.
I can't wait to continue my work with them and see them grow this year!
My Project
Each of my students is at a different level in their reading ability. My goal is to be able to meet them at their levels so that they are challenged enough without feeling frustrated. I also want reading to be fun!
Having a variety of books that students can choose from will keep them wanting more.
Having these books in my library for them to choose will allow them to choose different genres and keep moving up in levels. Each year, I want to keep building my classroom library to keep reading fun and interesting to keep that spark alive in them!
