My Students

Meet the Bobcats, where the students come to school each day ready for fun and learning! This is the age where the kids are so excited to come to school and have a thirst for knowledge.

The third grade students at our school love to read!

Third grade is the year that many students truly fall in love with reading. Our read aloud time is one of their favorite times of the day, where they listen, imagine, and escape into a story.

My Project

Reading is an extremely important part of a student's day. Our standards require students to read a wide variety of both fiction and non-fiction literature. Students are required to describe characters in a story and explain how their actions contribute to the sequence of events.

The BFG, by Roald Dahl, is a third grade favorite!

The BFG is a rich and complex character that captures our students' imaginations. This story motivates them to look for connections to their own lives and characters from other stories.

Our current paperback copies of The BFG as so well loved that they are literally falling apart. New hardback copies of this story will provide reading enjoyment for our current students and future students for years to come.
