Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are a school of approximately 650 students in the Triangle of North Carolina. We are a Title I school with about 67% of our population receiving free and reduced-price lunch.
My students absolutely deserve effective, interactive, and FUN resources to enhance their learning.
We are continuing to integrate technology into our curriculum and would love to be able to provide more tools to help our students succeed. They are hard-working, motivated, caring, and best of all, excited about learning!
My Project
We often ask our students to share what they have learned, to practice reading aloud, or to respond to the questions orally. Engaging classrooms are, by default, noisy places! Often, when we record ourselves, background noise and classroom chatter affect the quality of the recordings.
This recording equipment will allow my students' voices to finally be heard!
These microphones are high-quality, durable, and portable. Combined with the sound-proofing and privacy offered by the recording booth boxes, we will be able to create quality sound that can be understood without distraction. We will then use the headphone splitter to share the experience of listening to our voices together.
