Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are in an area listed as having critical needs that need no explanation. That only describes the site because the students' high energy and ability to adapt to some of their adverse conditions can still adjust to the current pandemic.

Despite the many challenges we face ahead, with the return of in-person learning, I am looking forward to providing each of my students with engaging and meaningful learning opportunities.

My Project

My students are excited about attending school in person this year. However, both my students and I now have an obstacle to overcome. With social distancing, I can't get close to my students while I am demonstrating how to complete certain tasks. I have to speak really loud while wearing a mask from a distance.

Voice amplifiers placed in the classroom will ensure that all students can hear me loud and clear while we maintain social distance.
