My students need wobble cushions for their chairs.

Sitting may be overrated in the classroom, but sometimes it's necessary! Do you remember sitting in the hard seats and trying to focus? I remember it, and it wasn't comfortable. I moved a lot and I now see the movement in my classroom daily. It can be distracting. Wobble cushions can help my kids.
I teach in a low socio-economic suburban school district near Dallas, TX.
My school is a Title 1 school so the "extras" are not always available. My students love science and social studies, so they're ready to get going when they come in. I create many opportunities for small group interaction and research based collaboration strategies. Even though we move around, there are times we must sit in our chairs. 5th grade students have plenty "wiggle" in them, and some of the students can't control it. Wobble cushions will allow them to move and not disrupt the whole group instruction. This is a "win-win" for all students.
The students can use the wobble cushions in their seats, as well as on the floor for seating. The cushions have sensory dots on them that can help students focus, stay calm, and allow for uninterrupted instruction. I envision students that are usually moving chairs and distracting students having an opportunity to move without distracting their classmates.
The wobble cushions will allow me to have uninterrupted teaching time.
It will help those struggling students manage their movement needs without disrupting the rest of the students. It will improve focus.
