I have 30 amazing 5th grade students each with unique talents and skills!! I have a few autistic kids and quite a few kids with ADHD. All of my students are nonjudgmental and kind. They shower each other with praise and compliments every day! They believe, encourage, and help each other so that everyone can succeed and feel loved.
They boost me up everyday and make me feel like the luckiest person on Earth!
Their energy and motivation is extraordinary! They are eager to learn and are open to new ideas and ways to learn! My students are truly remarkable!!
My Project
Our classroom is filled with 30 energetic 5th graders who have attention challenges and require different methods and needs for learning. Yoga balls would give my students the ability to wiggle while sitting, bounce while working, and use their muscles to stay sitting up! These would be perfect for my Active students!! I currently have 4 stools, that are in such demand, that I had to make a rotating schedule for my students to use them.
Having these flexible seating options would allow my students the freedom to sit wherever they choose, enhance student engagement, and improve their focus and love of learning!
