Hi, I teach the most fabulous group of kids. I am the librarian at our K-3 school and have 45 students in a book club.

We have finished reading a book about a homeless child who could not get a library card because he did not have an address. This broke their hearts.

We voted as a group to send at least 20 book bags filled with donated books so that the kids there could have access to reading. This will be a character building activity for the students as well as myself. We need 10 red book bags and 10 blue book bags to store the books we have collected.

You can make it possible for these kids to help other children. What they gain cannot be measured on a test or with any data. This project can make them realize how important it is to recognize a need in our community and become part of the solution.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
