Never underestimate the hearts of kids who want to learn. We may be a Title I school, but we work hard and try our very best to achieve our goals in my classroom. They have hearts of gold and their smiles go on for days. Their hearts share the same color of their school and no one can take that away from them. They come from tough neighborhoods but you wouldn't know it from their smiles. They all work hard.
My G/T students are challenged left and right when it comes to technology. They are expected by high school to be able function all kinds of technology. Hurricane Harvey and our little Winter Storm has definitely put us a little behind, but I refuse to let those obstacles get to them, us and the community.
Technology is the way to get our kids to be creative and engaged in learning.
With this IPad Pro, they will be able to create in a whole different way. One of the students projects consist of creating a authors self movie and they also will be able to create QR codes for their projects.
This extra resource in my class would benefit us in so many ways and we won't let any storm, a hurricane or a Ice get in the way of that.
