This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our students are true scholars and performers. They are creators, thinkers, visionaries, musicians, artists, dancers, and are very in tune with the role they play in this academic environment. They are dream chasers and role models.
My students are proud members of one of the best schools in our county.
They strive to do and be their best every day. Our values are centered around teamwork, perseverance, good judgment, creativity and integrity. They strive to emulate those values on a daily basis. My students live and breathe the concept of family, as many of my students have been growing and learning together since kindergarten.
My Project
Help me give my students the ultimate travel pack (filled with travel goodies) for an EPIC spring break adventure. My students and I will travel to LA and the Grand Canyon, where we will have a mix of adventure filled with history and exploration. The journals will allow them to capture their creativity and note some of their most memorable moments. Staying hydrated as we move through the Grand Canyon is critical. Each student being equipped with a water bottle will be paramount. Students will need to read up and research the various states we are traveling to and having a first hand guide to assist would be helpful. Lastly, as we make our way through airports, hotels, and tourists spots, it's important to stay germ free. With the hand wipes, kleenex, and first aids kits we are sure to be FULLY prepared.
