Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students' favorite part of the day is our ELA circle time and learning centers. They love how we use music and visual aids to enhance their learning. They also love to practice writing and drawing illustrations for the new vocabulary we learn each week.

My Project

The materials I am requesting will give my students the visual aid they need in order to learn about the the world of print! They will also aid my students in the development of their vocabulary and writing skills. The world of literacy will take my students any where they want to go.

The all about the letter alphabet chart will be the integral piece of our learning centers and circle time!

The chart holder and sentence strips are also vital to the learning process. We will be using the sentence strips to write, which aids in the development of fine motor skills and sentence structure.
