Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Social-emotional learning is an integral part of the class day for my students. I have requested the "Character Kids Save the Day" picture book and character figures because young kids enjoy watching superheroes on television, so a book on kindness, responsibility, and much more integrated with superheroes is a great way for the kids to learn about character traits.

Learning in the library needs to have a facet of learning opportunities with a variety of materials.

The talking flash card device will be great for both the English and Spanish-speaking students to practice listening and speaking the vocabulary words with the accompaniment of the image. The labels for the library books will be used to protect the books and to easily identify the books by genre and theme. I wish for the library to be a place where kids have a multitude of opportunities and experiences.
