Help me give my students plenty of Woodcase pencils and dry erase markers! It is getting close to testing time, and we are practicing our writing and math skills constantly!
My students were moved to my classroom after the start of the school year. They were used to rotations for different subjects with amazing teachers and, due to large numbers, a new classroom needed to be opened.
I am the blessed teacher that was hired to welcome these young minds and spirits into my classroom!
Many of them were saddened that they would leave their friends, teachers and established routines. My job was to make them feel welcomed, and sustain the momentum of their education which had already begun. As a teacher who is in my second year in a classroom, and taught Kindergarten last year, I sure know how they feel!
Challenging? To say the least. But these remarkable and resilient young people have stepped up to the change and are making their own place in my classroom. We are already a team, a team that is learning the ropes together.
What a beautiful and rewarding challenge for each of us. We can only get better each day!
My Project
We are quickly approaching that time of year for standardized testing! My students and I are practicing our skills consistently and daily to ensure we will succeed!
Our daily routine consists of writing, to gain better Language Arts and writing skills, and working out math problems using dry erase markers, so our supply of tools is being used quickly!
We are in need of replenishment of pencils and dry erase markers in order to continue our practice and sharpen our knowledge and skills in order to be totally ready and succeed in obtaining amazing scores on the State Level Tests!
