Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are wonderful students who try their best and make me happy every day when I see their smiling faces online!
Remote learning for kindergarten is not ideal, and I would love to make it a little more fun by sending them books of their own!
My students are just beginning their journey into reading, letters, letter sounds, and sight words. These books will be a great way for them to have books that are just right for them, and specific to their interests!

My Project
My students come from a variety of backgrounds; some with little support and resources at home. They come to our online classroom with a smile for me every day! Despite the challenges some of them have, they want to learn, and are excited to continue their school journey!
My classroom needs to be able to meet the wide range of reading levels and interests of my students.
This is my first year teaching and I would love to send my Terrific Tiger students books to expand their home library! The Scholastic leveled book box will also let me send them books throughout the school year as incentives, which will be SO amazing!
