This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe. These are the expectations that our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program uses to provide a consistent schoolwide set of expectations for students. Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based, three-tiered framework for improving and integrating all of the data, systems, and practices affecting student outcomes everyday. PBIS improves social, emotional, behavioral, and academic outcomes for all students, and creates a culture where all students succeed. Our PBIS rewards program allows our school to continuously recognize students for meeting behavior expectations. Students who meet these expectations are given recognition rewards each week. This project seeks to provide tangible rewards for our students.
