Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are such hard workers and caring children. I am so proud of all they have achieved. Many do not have much financially, but they are big in heart and have an amazing work ethic! They also want to help and contribute to our community and society!
Our class focus this year is how we can help our environment and our community to make the world a better place.
From taking our lessons outside working on one of our many environmental projects to exploring our science content through exciting design challenges! We are always on the move and set to change the world!
My Project
Our fairly new cooking club has been successful so far and not my students want to try some different cuisines! We have mastered the basics and now we have been discussing more adventurous techniques!
A Tagine is something that my students have not even heard of.
Honestly I have hear of them but never tried using one! We are going to see what we can make using the Tagine and infuse some Moroccan cooking in to our day! This would be such an exciting opportunity for these students and admittedly myself! Even if we are not successful I want them to not be afraid to try something new and out of their comfort zone!
