I just began a new chapter, teaching in Hawaii, beginning this past summer. As expected, I found a class full of vibrant and engaging students as ready and excited as I was to take on the fourth grade. I am continuing to build our resources one section of the classroom at a time, so we'll continue to have a wonderful and interesting place to learn. We are excited to grow our resources so we'll have many diverse ways to learn and take on different challenges.
My Project
We are requesting tennis rackets, tennis balls, and volleyballs to go along with our sets of nets previously donated. These resources will allow our Tennis Club to really take off with more students getting the chance to take part.
These resources would go a long way in building a community of students who are good sports at our school.
We, like many schools, are working on being more respectful. Taking part in athletics builds strong, positive relationships and helps create positive attitudes in students.
These resources would be used as an incentive to behave appropriately, earning an invite to Tennis Club. In addition we are requesting volleyballs to be able to expand our choice of activities during physical education time. These resources would go a long way in creating positive relationships while building strong healthy habits.
