My Students

I have the pleasure of working at a great school! Our school has a very diverse population and 99% of our students qualify for free and reduced-priced lunches.

Despite the obstacles we face in the community, our students come ready to learn about different sports in PE.

Our kids are the best! They are bright, loving and strive to be better every day. School is their safe place to learn and better themselves. We like to provide the very best for them as many don't have much at home and we want them to be able to be their best!

My Project

Tennis was one of my favorite sports growing up. It not only allowed me to become active and busy during middle and high school, I also was able to learn about good sportsmanship, how to work on a team, and be dedicated.

When give age appropriate materials, I will be able to teach my students about the fundamentals of tennis as well as all the social lessons needed to play a team sport.

Many of my students have never held a tennis racket. With the help of the USTA's curriculum, I will be able to instill a love for tennis that can follow them for the rest of their lives!
