Telling Time With an Organized Library!

My students need help organizing our classroom library. Hands on clocks will really help them with learning hot to tell time. Light timer will help students anticipate upcoming transitions.

My Students

My education campus is a Title I school that serves PreK3-8th grade. Our diverse student body is a true reflection of Washington DC. Our school promotes talent, compassion, and empowerment to our student body. We work to have our students not just reach goals, but exceed them!

Our students drive towards excellence is unparalleled!

I try to do all I can to help my students succeed, but my paycheck will only go so far. Donations will help my students increase their reading level in a way they couldn't without them.

My Project

My students are lucky to have a wide variety of books in our classroom library. We have so many books, we need more storage to keep them!

Quality bins will help students find the books they want to read easier, and help them begin their lifelong love of reading.

Hands on clocks where the students can manipulate help them to understand how clocks work, and how to tell time. Currently my students have to rely on my (lacking) artistic skills to demonstrate how clocks work. Hands on clocks are much more effective. (and fun!)

Light timer will help students anticipate transitions. This will ease anxiety between station rotations.
