My students need IO blocks to explore STEM concepts. The Tegu blocks will be another way for students to explore these skills while also working on social skills and cooperation.

My Students
The learners in my school come from a wide variety of backgrounds and needs. My class has a large number of students with disabilities and special needs including ESL, speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. These students along with our regular education students who perform at or above grade level create a unique learning environment.
Studies show that quality early childhood programming provide children with a great start to their school career.
Our goal is to provide a place to be creative and curious while also learning to be great people!
My Project
The IO Blocks will give my students a way to explore building concepts in a tangible way. The accompanying app on the iPad will take their experience even further through augmented reality. Tegu blocks will be another way for students to practice cooperation and STEM skills. The wood and magnetic blocks are a beautiful way to explore.
Students need the time and materials to explore to inspire curiosity and innovation at a young age.
If our youngest learners are able to explore, they will start school with a love of creation! These students will develop a stronger growth mindset through the STEM activities as well.
