My Students

Smile bright! Your teeth are the first thing people notice when you smile at them. Learning how to care for teeth properly will help my students be more confident and have healthier habits for life.

I teach health as a special subject in a building with 1,200 students.

The students who receive health are in fourth and fifth grade which is a total of 800 students each week! They come to my classroom and we work on a variety of topics that effect their physical, social, and emotional health. They are engaging and enthusiastic learners who are curious about how the mind and body works.

My Project

The models of the clean mouth display and tooth model will provide a visual for students to see how to properly care for their teeth. They will be given the opportunity to practice flossing and brushing the teeth so that they can see the process up close. This will help students know both how to care for their teeth and why they need to care for their teeth.

By donating to Teeth Teaching Time you will be helping promote healthy dental hygiene in young people.

Your donation will provide an avenue for students to learn healthy dental hygiene habits to last their lifetime.
