Help me give my students a source of energy for their long day in school! They’re often hungry by the end of the day, begging for food to help them get through the last hours of the day’s.
My school is truly a gem! Our students have to apply to our school because of the unique learning opportunities that are available. We’re a very small school in which I’m able to know each and every student and their family. It’s what makes learning one that all stakeholders are invested in the well being of our school. I know I’m partial, but my school is truly the best school ever! My students become my kids.
My students are 11th graders who are ready to take on the world and find their path in life.
My Project
Because of the unique schedule of my school, my students are in class anywhere from 8am to 8pm. They’re dedicated teens who will be graduating from high school with their high school diploma and their Associate’s Degree. By having the snacks available for students who are financially strained for food to help sustain them, this will allow them more time to concentrate on their learning. When students are hungry, there is minimal learning taking place. Staying hydrated is the key! This will make a difference in their day to day schedule at school and will make their learning in English class one that is unforgettable.
