My students need "fidget stools" to help wiggly teenagers succeed in science.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
It's summer as I write this and most of my students are working. We're an agricultural community so they're busy all summer. They're great kids -- polite, eager to learn, and helpful. Over 90% of my students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch and lots of them speak a language other than English at home but that doesn't slow them down.
I'm starting the year off with 7th graders!
My primary class is biology (10th graders, mostly) so middle school science is always a rousing experience. It's so much fun to see how much the squirrelly 7th graders have changed by the time I see them again in biology.
A recent class of 7th graders inspired me to make a Donors Choose request for "wobble stools", stools with rounded bases that wiggly middle schoolers can use to expend energy without disrupting others. Once they arrived, the wobble stools were preferred seats for my high school kids too!
The kids called them "fidget stools" & there were never enough to go around.
One of my advisory students even carried his wobble stool with him if he had to move about during class. The number of wiggly teenagers is unexpectedly high. Alternative seating will help those kids to learn more effectively.
