My Project
Getting a Macbook will allow for students to integrate their artistic soul into their academics. This new technology will help students understand and access the new possibilities of the revamped LOTE and AP online resources.
Each year, my students engage in a culminating project where they create a video, a storyboard and a screenplay creating their cultural reinvention of a sequence taken from movies, such as Passione by J.
Turturro or Loose Cannons by F. Ozpetek, that we watched in class.
These projects exercise the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing and the three language modes: interpersonal, interpretive and presentational. Using Apple software on this computer would allow students to be as creative as they desire when creating projects.
