Help me give my students the ability to fully participate in hybrid instruction through the purchase of a classroom iPad, 4 Fire Kids' Tablets and a document camera. With this classroom technology, all students have equity of access!
I teach 3rd grade in a Title I elementary school in Sussex County, Delaware. The school is classified as Title I (for funding purposes) and many students in my class lack adequate resources for optimal learning, especially given the unique setting for instruction this year. Our school is following an aggressive Hybrid Instruction Plan, which means the students are in the building for one week, and at home (remote instruction) the next week. To say this school year is challenging would be an understatement, but you'd never know it walking into my classroom! My 3rd grade students are eager to learn, committed to staying on top of their assignments and growing exponentially; academically, socially and emotionally. I provide live ZOOM instruction for the remote students 4x/day, and have 100% attendance most days! I couldn't be more impressed with the students' ability to adapt and embrace these unprecedented times in their educational career. I am so impressed with their enthusiasm, self-management on ZOOM, effort on online assignments and overall attitude about 3rd grade! They are genuinely ROCK STARS and they make me PROUD every single day!

Technology is a must for students this year!
The iPad, Fire Tablets, and document camera will ensure all students have access to our daily ZOOM lessons and online platform, OTUS, for submitting work.
To be successful, students must have access to devices and internet! Some students return to school after their home week and have make-up work to complete, due to lack of technology and internet resources outside of the school building. Funding of this project provides them with the tools necessary to keep up with their assignments!
