My students need two iPads with protective cases to get ready for this year's TNREady testing which will be all online. We will also be using apps to practice math fluency each day!

My Students

A typical day in my classroom is very active. We are on our feet for STEM learning, and we are using technology everyday to make us ready for the new Tennessee Assessment called TNReady. One big focus for us will be on math facts fluency so we are fluent multipliers of larger numbers. We'll be READY

My students come from a Title One school, so many of them are without the technological advantages that their peers in other schools may have!

They are eager to learn and are coming from a district that is #1 in the state for academic achievement progress! They are from a reward school, and they have limited resources due to our area.

My Project

My students will be using these iPads to get on various websites such as Edulastic and MICA to practice for the TNReady tests that they will take in February and May. They will be using them for practicing math fact fluency (especially multiplication) using various available apps.

These donations will allow my students to be better suited for TNReady.

They will be able to have the advantages that students at other schools in the same grade will have. This will enable to be college and career ready as they head towards middle school next year! I want the best for these children; hands down!
