Help me give my students an EPSON LCD Projector to enhance our lessons and engage all students!

My school serves a community of learners ranging from Pre-K through 5th grade. The community we serve has students from a wide range of differing abilities. I teach at an amazing public school in an urban city in Maryland. My group of scholars is comprised of 30 students, 16 boys and 14 girls. The group is a very diverse group of smart, inquisitive, cooperative, and motivated learners. Their interests include mathematics, social sciences, technology, and other college and career geared fields.
My students have worked hard this school year and we plan to finish this school year out even smarter, stronger and wiser!
This is my 13th group of scholars and it's my duty to make sure that my students are well prepared for the next grade by adequately preparing them. I'm confident with the help of Donors like yourself, that this will be a reality.
My students deserve a projector that can actually project! My students are 21st century learners working in a classroom that's outdated. We are in dire need of a fully functioning projector to use daily. The SMART board, document camera, and projector in our classroom is a little over eight years old. The technology is obsolete and the district doesn't have enough funds to replace it with updated equipment. We've been unable to utilize our document camera and SMART board for the majority of the year. The projector will no longer project. With your assistance we will close out the year and properly prepare for the upcoming school year.
Projecting and presenting information in a visual way will help promote more student engagement.
Students will be able to follow along as I model a variety of math problems, locate answers to text-dependent questions, project their work, make presentations to the class, and watch informational clips for all subject areas. The EPSON projector will also allow me to conduct science experiments while my little scientists make and record their observation as I project from the document camera. The possibilities are endless when the technology is readily available.
Integrating technology will help stimulate students who are visual learners and has also proven to be effective with connecting with other learning styles. It will help increase student engagement. The use of technology should be accessible to all learners.
