My Students

My students are high energy and eager to learn individuals! Our middle school serves many students from a variety of cultural and financial backgrounds. Our school is a Title I school located in an urban setting and serves over 700 students.

My students come everyday ready to gain new skills that will assist them in reaching their goals later in life.

School wide, students are encouraged to be the best versions of themselves and everyday I see my students striving to do just that.

My Project

Technology is a great resource for keeping kids engaged and our school is going 1:1 next year so we need some new technology to enhance our learning environment. The headphones will be helpful when students need to listen to content specifically designed for them. With all students having access to computers I will be creating some individualized digital lessons and students will need the headphones to access them. The rolling desk will allow me to move freely around the room in order to connect with each student instead of having a desk and desktop computer that is tied to one corner of the room.
