My Students

My students are from rural families with working parents. Most have siblings also in school here. The majority of their parents went to school here. In spite of numerous Covid related obstacles of the last two years; sickness, family stress, missed or inadequate instruction, my students continue to rally to the challenges and I am SO proud of their academic and social gains.

In my classroom we care about each other, we take care of one another and help each other.

We cheer for each others' successes. We are a family on many levels; our class family, our school family, our community family. I could not ask for better students to call "my kids".

My Project

This technology will give my students who have had limited access to the world outside their physical environment the opportunity to expand their world view. It will also provide additional pathways to meet the needs of all the learners in my classroom. I will be able to offer remediation and enrichment for each student according to their individual needs through the multitude of quality digital resources that we currently have limited access to because of hardware restraints.

It will allow me to offer them the most current and relevant educational opportunities.
