Benjamin Franklin once said, " An investment in knowledge pays the best dividends." I believe that is still true for all students today. Making an investment in students is never a bad idea. Here in our school we have a very dedicated staff to meet the needs of all students. Last year our community was hit by Hurricane Harvey. We had many downed trees and flooded classrooms. We were out of school for 11 days. Our school really pulled together. Teachers and parents came together to help our many students who were displaced.
My students love to learn and love exploring new things.
They are constantly asking what are we doing today?
We often talk about being a school family and that we are all here to help each other learn. The students in my class are enthusiastic learners and love working together.
My Project
Smartboards are a great way to focus students' attention in the classroom. Technology is interesting and helps classrooms to have 100% authentic engagement. Smartboards can make all subjects interactive and it will be used as a station to meet the diverse needs of all students in my classroom.

The smartboard will be used in all subjects to enhance student learning and it will also be fun! Reading, math, science, and social studies will come to life on the screen. My students will love to work with technology to reach their full learning potential.
