My students need five Chromebooks and headphones so that we have more opportunities to use technology in the classroom to enhance student learning and engage them in the content.
The students in my classes are some of the most amazing students. They come from all different backgrounds but most have been a part of this school and community their whole lives. This community is a small rural community that supports the school and students in amazing ways.
My students are smart, respectful, and driven young people that have the potential to do amazing things in the world.
If presented with even more resources, their education can take them even further.
My Project
We need five Chromebooks and headphones so that we have more opportunities to use technology in the classroom to enhance student learning and engage them in the content. By adding Chromebooks to the classroom it will allow for me to incorporate more technology into my lessons. It will also allow for me to begin implementing some of the flipped classroom techniques so that I can maximize student learning in class.
Technology will allow me to create lessons that get the students involved and make them an active participant in their learning.
As society changes it becomes more and more important to utilize technology and the resources it has to offer our students and their education.
Incorporating some of the flipped classroom techniques will allow for class time to be utilized in the best way for the students. The technology will allow for students who do not have access to technology at home to be able to use it and used to catch absent students up without sacrificing class time.
