My Students

We have 10 students with varying needs who would benefit from access to Boardmaker. Our students are in grades K-5 with disabilities that have physical, speech/language, and cognitive impacts. They work so hard every day, and we are so proud to support them in working towards more independence.

My Project

Having access to Boardmaker will allow us to provide our non-verbal students with a voice. We want to give our students every opportunity to actively participate in lessons, express their thoughts and opinions, and engage with the world around them.

Boardmaker allows us to personalize communication boards and activities for each student.

Boardmaker has over 45,000 customizable symbols that relate to all aspects of life and education. Boardmaker also has pre-made curriculum and assessments made specifically for special education. Increasing our students' access to language benefits all of our students and helps them to make strides towards more independence.
