Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Technology is moving faster than education funding will EVER be able to support. Please help provide an opportunity to include more technology in our classroom while encouraging a love of reading and practice for mastery of skills in language arts and math.
Our students are highly engaged and full of energy 6-7 year olds!
They are eager to learn and we would love the opportunity to engage them by adding more technology to their lives. Many of our students don't have access to technology within their homes and we would love to provide them some exposure to 21st century skills.
My Project
As technology progresses, it has become increasingly difficult to keep students engaged in learning through paper and pencil. Students should have the opportunities to engage with technology, receive immediate feedback and have FUN while learning, reading and reinforcing skills for mastery.
These 4 tablets will help set our class on a path towards that idea! Using these tablets in a small group will provide that educational experience needed in the classroom, while keeping students engaged and on task.
In times where technology is moving faster than most individuals can afford to maintain, schools facing times of budget cuts across the board, cannot meet the demands of technology.
These tablets will allow our young children of the future to be exposed to technology and engaged in learning.
