Technology to Expand Horizons and Research Around the World
Help me give my students access to Chromebook technology with 3 HP Laptops and 1 cloud printer. These technology items will allow my students to access books, doing research, and visit places that they never imagined.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are second-grade boys and girls in a Title I school in Texas. My students are smart and they could become our future engineers if we continue nurturing their love for science and problem-solving. My students are in the process of learning English to transition to mainstream classes.
Research has shown that English language learners accelerate their language acquisition when they have access to meaningful education that can nurture their desire for identifying and solving daily life problems.
I believe in project-based learning for accelerated English Language Acquisition. This project will also develop my students' ingenuity to apply their learning to solve daily life problems.
My Project
More and more school districts are placing students resources in the cloud. Nevertheless, the technology in the classroom is not catching up with these changes.
The technology divide increases between students with access at home and those with no access to technology.
These Chromebooks and cloud printer will allow my students the opportunity to learn by using new media, websites, ebooks and research materials. In addition, the will be able to improve the 21st-century skills they need to access college successfully. These Chromebooks laptops have the technology needed for them to interact and extend the possibilities of learning by using multiple platforms to show understanding.
