The school community is made up of unique and gifted students. We are a smaller school but our students have big plans! We are a fourth grade classroom with great ideas of how to master grade level standards using technology.
Having technology easily accessible in the classroom will increase the positive student work input and output.
I love that my students are excited to learn how to incorporate technology in to their daily learning. Having technology available in the classroom will offer students opportunities to grown and further develop their understanding of technology. Coming from a world surrounded in technology, they will learn tools for how to better navigate through it.
My Project
Giving students access to technology in my classroom is extremely important to me. Students will be using the technology daily in class for assignments, research, projects, communication, the writing process, and various other activities.
I feel as though, students should be able to demonstrate learning and show mastery of standards through the use of technology.
Students will be able to work on material independently, or collaboratively, to demonstrate their understanding. Having this technology in the classroom will give students an outlet for their creativity to "show what they know". The chrome books will become an important part to the daily work of each student in the class.
