Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My first graders are energetic and curious little people. They desire to learn and show compassion for their classmates.

The students at my school are very strong individuals who come to school to be in a safe place to eat, learn, and play.

The student body at my school is over 90% minority and all students are provided with free breakfast and lunch daily. These students do not have access to very many educational materials at home.

I am looking for classroom materials to help engage my students while they are learning at school. These kids need people to support them and help them grow.

My Project

At our school we use apps to practice phonics, reading, and math. These applications provide instruction at the student's level, which is essential to fill their gaps, and help each individual grow.

Durable headphones will help my students to stay focused and work on the educational apps that we do daily in school.

The headphones that were supplied by our school break very easily, and most of them have stopped working within the first couple months of school.

At times the iPads we use at school break, or freeze up. It will be helpful to have the amazon fire tablets as backups. I will also use them for educational game time.
