Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

These students are amazing! They often don't ask for much but their eagerness creates the need to give them something more and different than the standard learning style.

The students want to learn but often require unique ways to grasp the concept of what they are learning.

While it might be as simple as repeating the question, having a specific place in the room to sit, or perhaps an independent learning chair, this gives them ownership of their learning by having an alternative way to learn.

They work to please and just need that extra support to encourage them to start each day new and be excited about what they are learning. When given the opportunity to use technology as their learning platform, the students often thrive and excel in multiple areas.

My Project

Students will have an opportunity to use technology to grasp math concepts. They could be using the resource to extend a concept they have mastered and need to take to the next level to challenge them. Students also might be in need of finding an alternate way to learn other than natural learning from teachers and discussion. Even then more students might need an opportunity to review a previous concept before advancing to the concept in need of mastery. Students will be able to choose from a multiple of websites with a variety of methods for instruction, review, and extensions.
