My students need 20 flash memory storage drives.
Many students are not able to purchase their own memory stick / flash drive to save their work. It would be helpful for all students to have a way to save the documents and projects they create.
Students and families in our local community are wonderful.
They are very involved in our school -- helping in whatever way possible. We have parents on our campus every day; helping teachers organize, make copies, put up display boards, and even sweep the floor! We consider ourselves to be very lucky. However, students are always in need of supplies and materials.
We have a set of old computers in the room for student use in research projects and Microsoft Word documents. Unfortunately, these old computers do not allow students to save their documents due to storage. Students need their own memory device to help store their documents and projects for easy access.
Students have been so frustrated when they lose a document because they weren't able to save it on a personal memory storage device.
Having extras of these in the classroom will make them more available for more students.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
