I am excited to begin teaching 3rd graders this year! My students look forward to coming to school each day. They enter my classroom with their own unique personality and background, while being respectful and accepting of one another.
Each year, I am challenged with students who have various learning styles and abilities.
My goal is to provide them with rich learning experiences and lasting friendships. More than half of my students come from low income housing and qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.
My Project
My classroom is in need of accessories to help with our technology resources. We need new speakers for our classroom projector. The projector is used multiple times throughout the day for various lessons. Currently, I am borrowing speakers from another colleague and would like to have my own for the classroom. The Apple adapter will allow us to project work from an iPad and display it to the class. They will get to share their work and show off their creations! The charging station will help us keep everything organized safely and with fewer wires.
Not every student comes to school with headphones, and I would like to be able to provide a student with a pair when needed.
Headphones are used on a daily basis, whether it be for Lexia, Scholastic, OSMO, SumDog, or a trip to the computer lab. What is great about the LilGadgets headphones is that the students can share the audio! One student can plug into the iPad and the other can plug into their partner's headphones. This will allow the students to work better as a team.
