My students need to be able to post their work with large post it notes. They also need the opportunity to project their work and this mini projector will do a great job
My students work hard to complete challenges in Geometry and they need to be able to display their hard work. This will enable then to compare and contrast their work with other students. They also enjoy a challenge and when they do well, they love to project their work for the class to view.
Our High School is a Title I school (poverty level) and as teachers, we work hard to create a positive learning environment for our students.
The students love to learn and like a new challenge. They need the opportunity to rise to a level of higher order thinking and these post-it notes, mini projector, and work books will provide them with supplies they do not currently have. These items are considered a luxury at our school and we welcome the opportunity to have them. Change is welcomed daily by my students.
My Project
The new objectives call for a higher order thought process from students and teachers. The workbooks will provide teachers new resources to pull questions for class & home work, while the mini projector will provide students the opportunity to display their accomplishments. Students will use the large post-it notes to display group work and also compare & contrast their work.
This project will make a difference by providing students with tools for their education that would otherwise not be available.
Students will become engaged if they feel that their work will make a difference and these supplies will provide them with this opportunity. A feeling of success comes from learning and/or sharing and these supplies will offer this success to each of my students.
