This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. As a teacher, mentor, counselor, safe haven, I tried to make my classroom safe, warm and learning environment for my students. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to provide my students with the needed supplies to keep things simple and provide my students with creative, individual, unique, and meaningful learning experiences in the 21st Century.
My Project
This new chrome-book will be an asset to our classroom. Students will be able to search the web to complete research projects, visit interactive websites, go on virtual field-trips and record themselves giving presentations.
We are now in the 21st Century and this Chromebook will help my students get prepared for the real-world, give them the opportunity to explore the internet, and get hands on experience with technology.
The protective sleeve will keep the Chromebook secure as my five different classes pass the Chromebook around during class instruction and technology day during the school week. The laptop sleeve will serve multiple purposes!
