My Students

Have you ever tried to convince a ten year old that learning is fun and exciting? Unfortunately, it is not always that easy.

I teach in a rural military town in North Carolina.

Currently, our school is partially federal funded. My fifth grade boys and girls are active, energetic, and excited about learning. My goal this year is to help my students to stay this excited about school.

My Project

I have requested a document camera/projector presentation cart. I have found that my students excel when using technology in the classroom. With budget cuts and increasing class sizes, my students are lacking the materials that are needed to help them reach their full potential. A cart would help me to be able to display the technology tools that I currently have in one central location. This would allow students to have a modern work station, access to a Document Camera, Laptop, and a LCD projector.

You will make it possible for my students to become lifelong learners.

With your help, I can prepare these students to become twenty first century learners and create a love for learning that will last a lifetime
