This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are innovative thinkers who love to investigate and learn new skills on our laptops. They are constantly looking for new games to play and love to share them with their friends in class.

They also love to use technology for research and to answer those burning questions that arise as we work on our units of study.

My students are incredible thinkers, helpers and individuals! They are very energetic, motivated, and intuitive and are a joy to teach! Four kindergarten classrooms at our school share laptops. We need a safe and easy way to share and transport and store laptops in order to more efficiently share them between classes.

My Project

This cart will allow us to safely manage the use of laptops and maximize students use of technology in the classroom. Students are using laptops in ways we could not imagine years ago. They play educational games, use programs that track their progress in ELA & Math. They even do their own research on topics of interest for projects and writing.

Your donations will organize our technology equipment, ensure that we can share laptops and other devices among classes, keep all of our equipment safe and increase the amount of time spent using and interacting with technology.

We live in a technological age. Every technological advantage we can give our students will increase students' readiness to advance through the grade levels and their success when they graduate and enter the workforce.
