Mr. Henderson from Atlanta GA is requesting instructional technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need a Nikon camera lens and four Zenfone cases to get geared up for the 2018 Technology Olympics! - Involving STEAM Learning with VR (Virtual Reality), Sphero Technology, and Film Production! We'd love to have your help!

My students are fun-loving, full of a curiosity, and possess a true joy for learning. More than 90% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. However, a beautiful cultural thread is represented within our student body.
This diversity has elevated our classroom conversations, constant activities of exploration, and daily enrichment that show to be extremely beneficial for their futures.
The possibilities of what our students can achieve make every day a joyous occasion as we continue to develop as educators of 21st century.
For our upcoming Project Event, I am requesting some inexpensive phone cases and a camera lens for our students here at HHE. We already have an inventory of Asus Zenphone 2 Smart Phones ready for the activities, but I'd really like to keep a few of them safe within the phone cases for activities with frequent movement. Also, I have a Nikon DSLR D3300 that I'd like to donate to the Technology Inventory for students to be able to visually document and produce recaps from their activities—but it needs a lens!
HHE's 2018 Technology Olympics will allow students to engage in STEM learning while associating the enrichment to a world-renowned sporting event!
Students will learn the fundamentals of momentum and acceleration with Sphero—which will require phone cases for safety during activity, students will draws conclusions and have clear understandings about the Olympic games and its history through VR Expeditions. Finally, students will learn about advertising and public relation aspects of sporting events through various aspects of film-making and visual production with the provided Nikon D3300 camera lens.
