Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Ms. Turner’s Tiny Team are studious scholars! They are working hard each day to master objectives that will have them exceeding 2nd grade expectations.

Our school sets high expectations for students that will ensure that they are college and career ready.

We believe in instilling a growth mindset in our students. We do this by providing them with challenging and rigorous work. We sustain a community of respect and diversity.

As a teacher in a low-income area, my students are faced with many challenges and economic hardship. It is my goal, through DonorsChoose.org to provide my students with resources that will contribute to their learning development.

My Project

We have been provided with software that will greatly impact and improve our student's ability to read. The headphones I am requesting will enable my student to utilize it within its capacity.

By donating to our project, you will be helping to provide my learners with the tools that they need to be successful.

Our school has purchased a set of iPads for each student in my class. Students were responsible for purchasing their own headphones at the beginning of the year. At this time, only 30% of my students were able to purchase them. Please help me to provide meaningful learning experiences to my students by making a donation today.
