Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My school is classified as a Title I school. That means that most of our students live in households that struggle financially. The school is located in a very small town in the south. The students that attend the school are a well-adjusted group of rock stars!!

My students are an exciting, clever bunch!

They are always striving to do their best. They are eager learners that love to learn new things. We operate as a team and are always willing to give each other a helping hand.

My Project

This project will enable us to explore the world of technology more. Students enjoy completing research assignments, but we lack the technology to do it effectively. Now students must wait until a resource becomes available.

The Kindle Fire HD tablets will enable us to complete research projects, play games, take tests, and become more technology savvy.

Without the generous help of donors, I would not be able to provide this window to the world for my students. This resource will enable them to be more proficient with technology. Unfortunately, some of them do not have access to any form of technology at home. This is an investment for their future.
