I teach Kindergarten at a charter school in Florida. I have 19 sweet students in my class. My students love their learning time on computers, and it makes me happy that they enjoy learning.
Technology is a very important part of my students from day to day in the classroom.
Each of my 19 students uses a computer every day, twice a day for a total of 30 minutes. They come from technology-rich backgrounds and would benefit tremendously from these laptops.
Using computers in the classroom is not only beneficial to my students academically, but it also makes learning more fun! My 19 sweet students would love the opportunity to have computers in their classroom to better help them learn academically.
My Project
The use of technology is a daily activity in our classroom, in both reading and math time. Each of my 19 students uses a computer every day, twice a day for a total of 30 minutes. We currently have four desktops, but they don't work. We need five total to accommodate our class.

With these new Chromebook laptops, my students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand and not whether their materials are going to work or not. Also, in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn!
